It was time for Pops to turn his identity over to Essa. Essa was Pop's higher self. It was that part of him that he couldn't put his hands on, couldn't define, but he had come to learn to trust. He knew it was time to trust Essa 100% and this is how Pops became Essa.
There was a time when Pops went by the name of Essa. This is when he was working in Saudi Arabia as an English teacher and was following the popular Islamic interpretation of Saudi Arabia at that time, in the Early 1990s. It was common for a new Muslim to adopt an Arabic name and so he chose Essa, which means Jesus, to honor the Christ Consciousness and his Christian upbringing. He later reverted back to the name of Robert when he found that it seemed to, strangely enough, command more respect from the Muslim community. Essa had been trying to figure out the complexity of the human drama for as long as he could remember. For much of his short life of 56 years old, he hadn't found the answer and so remained largely unengaged from the usual doings of society at large. It was finally at 56 that he came into a clearer understanding of life. He surrendered to the mystery and love. He found out that he could never have all the answers and so he just accepted where he was. His striving helped him produce many inventions for humanity in the mean time and now he was ready to share them, but how? This was the question the plagued his mind. He didn't know how everything worked, but he knew there were much larger forces at work and he trusted that all would come into being at the perfect time. He was now ready to reach out, and one of the first places he was going to come in contact with was GeniusU. These were people who had already been trained with a much larger outlook on life. It was time to call on the Geniuses. Essa's inventions were not complicated, but they did take time to experience, as he had just experienced the previous 180 days, since December 10, 2018. He summarized his morning meditation notes as follows: -Best Perspective Question: Who would you like to see in 2030? Essa had listed many heroines and heroes, but his most recent favorite heroine was Marianne Williamson as she was talking about Operationalizing Love. Although it sounded mechanical, it wasn't. The 17 Global Goals were perfect examples of Love operationalized. - The best way to learn is to play the game. To do this, he would get readers involved in the story. - Who is Essa? He could be called many things. He is a "Nowist" This is a term that he thought he coined, but upon his internet search found it already existed, but probably different than his definition. His definition of "Now" meant the current lunar month. He experimented with it the previous 6 months and found it worked well. -What kind of writer is he? Essa is a mystery writer. Since he has ventured into and remains on the edge of the unknown, he writes about what happens as part of his daily experience. His next step, after many years of contemplation and observation was to be one of engagement. He felt excited because he would be, again, adventuring into the unknown, not knowing what will happen or whom he will met, but to him, those were the most exciting of experiences. "Tomorrow," Essa thought, I will begin to engage. |
